Heralding from Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, Minnaar has developed a meticulous, detail orientated approach to World Cup racing that continues to provide him and his team, the Santa Cruz Syndicate, wins and podiums alike. In addition to three World Cup championships, Minnaar was provided the unique opportunity to race World Championships in his hometown of Pietermaritzburg, overcoming incredible pressure to capture the 2013 World Championship in front of an elated home crowd!
